UBC Boathouse Wedding, Vancouver BC - Kirsten + Andreas

Coming all the way from Norway, Kirsten and Andreas tied the knot at the beautiful UBC Boathouse in Vancouver on a rainy September day. Vancouver was actually K’s home base, but love brought her to the other side of the world to be with Andreas in Norway - his home base. Their story is one I’ll always remember; they had crossed paths in the past and were together before, but the distance got in the way. They had always known they were the one for each other so when their paths crossed again, Kirsten made the choice to follow Andreas back to his home base and build their life there together. How amazing is that?!

Some of the highlights from their day was finding out Kirsten’s father broke his leg a little while before the wedding, but that didn’t stop him from walking her down the aisle and having their father daughter dance! Another one was learning a Norwegian wedding tradition: when guests clink their glasses, not only does the couple have to kiss, they have to stand up on a chair to do so!
