Alexander Falls + Nita Lake Lodge Elopement, Whistler BC - Allison + Linden

Coming from Saskatchewan, Allison and Linden wanted to have the full Pacific Northwest experience for their elopement. What better place to do that than in Whistler? They had their immediate families along with them for the whole day and it couldn’t have suited them better. Allison and Linden started their day getting ready at Nita Lake Lodge where all the ladies were together in one suite, and all the guys got ready in another. After the makeup was on, hair was done, and their wedding attire was put on, A+L met on the bridge for their first look. Needless to say, it was an emotional one! Linden’s reaction is all one could ask for from their partner.

The ceremony spot they chose has got to be one of my favourites: Alexander Falls! Bonus, we didn’t have to walk far to get to such a beautiful viewpoint. In front of the waterfall, they exchanged their handwritten vows to each other, shed some tears and shared some tight hugs with their families. First order of business after they were officially married was to toast with some champagne! Because it was such a low key day, they were able to relax for a bit before their dinner reception at Nita Lake Lodge. Nothing better than sharing an intimate, delicious meal with your nearest and dearest to celebrate!
