Tatianna + Connor planned an intimate wedding at Minnekhada Lodge in September 2020. The lodge itself was so charming with a cozy, warm cabin feel - while also being surrounded by a lush green park filled with beautiful places for photos!

The bride & groom were some of the nicest, most laid-back people I’ve ever met (they made my job very easy)! Tatianna’s dress was absolutely jaw-dropping with it’s unique vintage feel and off-the-shoulder puff sleeves. She looked like a princess which was very fitting since she loves all things Disney! The ceremony itself was outside under a beautifully decorated tree with drapery and lanterns to create an arch. The entire setup of the ceremony was done by friends and family earlier that day. Both the bride and groom incorporated traditions from their heritage in the ceremony: Tatianna is Aboriginal, so her mom performed a smudging ceremony; Connor is Irish, so they took part in a handfasting ceremony. These were incredible moments to witness with so much love and emotion throughout the event!

Minnekhada Park was a stunning location to shoot at - the wedding party portraits looked amazing in contrast with the greenery (especially the mismatched bridesmaids dresses that were a fall colour scheme). The couple’s first dance looked like an old Hollywood movie with romantic string lights and surrounded by all of their loved ones. They ended the night with a fun sparkler exit with their wedding party, which was a joyful way to end such an incredible night!
