Vancouver Block Clock Tower + Settlement Building Wedding - Amanda + Arlen
Amanda and Arlen met while working at their office in the Vancouver Block building years ago, and while they no longer work together, they continued to stay together. It was only fitting to go back to where it all started for their wedding photos. We had exclusive access to the clock tower in the Vancouver Block building and had the privilege to take photos inside of it, and outside on the rooftop overlooking the Granville strip. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience and the three of us couldn’t stop gushing about it!
But before all that, these two had their intimate ceremony and lunch reception at the Settlement building. They had only their closest friends and family present when they exchanged emotional vows and were finally announced as husband and wife. Cahoots Creative did a wonderful job of making the already beautiful space at the Settlement Building to fit Amanda + Arlen’s style. There was a stunning boho lounge and vibrant tables decor for the harvest tables. For the evening reception, Cahoots transformed the space to fit a cocktail style party where they could party the night away with their friends.
As per every wedding, there are always so many memorable moments, but the few that stood out included tearful and joyful moments that Arlen shared with his teenage kids. They were his wedding party so they all got ready together along with Arlen’s parents. During the ceremony, as each of his kids walked down the aisle, they shared a tearful embrace at the altar before Amanda’s entrance. Another sentimental touch that I loved was Amanda wearing the twine ring that Arlen originally proposed with (pictured in one of their portraits) - how cute are they?
