Loft Garden Oasis Engagement Session, Vancouver BC - Paige + Correy
Paige and Correy booked the Loft Garden Oasis for their engagement session. This apartment was filled with hundreds of plants (198 to be exact), and the entire space was made to feel like you were in a jungle! This space also had unique knick knacks and vintage-style decor on display which really fit with Paige and Correy’s quirky personalities. The day of the shoot, they brought a Commodore PET 2001 (a very, very old computer) that they had restored. They also brought a bunch of other computer parts to represent their love of building computers together - I honestly found this so cool!
I always want to encourage couples to think outside the box for their sessions and do something that reflects their true authentic selves and their relationship. Paige and Correy really killed it with this! There was lots of amazing natural light in the space, but I also loved experimenting with whatever light source was available throughout the apartment - playing with lighting is a great creative challenge, and in this space I was able to play around with the neon light, string lights, and a sky light!
