Fraser River Lodge Wedding, Agassiz BC - Anna + Chris

Anna + Chris booked me 2 years ago, so their wedding day was a long time coming. They had no idea what would happen 2 years later, but they didn’t let anything get in the way of their wedding in the end. Despite the restrictions at the time, they still made the most of it with their wedding party and immediate family.

As they got ready for the day, they both read letters they had written to each other which was very touching. They also arranged fun door games in the morning, which the bridal party coordinated (Chris really rocked the high heels and ‘bridal’ cape). They also came prepared for wedding party photos with cardboard cut-outs of the members of their wedding party who weren’t able to be there!

In case you hadn’t noticed from the photos, Chris cried a lot (mostly happy tears though!) which made for some very beautiful and emotional shots. Some of my favourites were the bride + groom’s first dance, and the emotional dance between Chris and his mom. Moreover, Anna’s maid of honor prepared a surprise compilation video with messages from friends + family who couldn’t attend the wedding due to restrictions. The way in which these two lovely people planned their wedding during such a difficult time really showed that love can still be felt deeply even if people can’t physically be present.
